Hello there.  Come on in, pull up a chair.  My name is Bob, and I’d like to tell you a thing or two about some things I’ve heard, and seen, and done.

These aren’t things I know a lot about, mostly.  A lot of them I’m experiencing for the first time.  Like writing a blog, for instance.  But they’re things I have a lot of thoughts about, and I’d like to share them with you.

Whenever I try some food or drink, or music, or book, or movie, or video game that I’ve never tried before, I’d like to let you know what I thought of it.  Not quite a review, or a criticism.  More like the kind of thoughts you’d ask your best friend or family member for on a thing they tried before you.  We can learn about new things together, see how we like them, or don’t.

I think I’ll start with music, specifically a fairly unknown piece by the recently deceased David Bowie.  Something that is both lost, and not.  Something that started as scraps from messing around in the studio, but changed form quite drastically, and unwillingly, when it came time to leave those creative confines.  Something that had never been heard in its intended form until it appeared in its entirety online last year.

I’ve listened to it several times, and will listen to it several more, without a doubt.  But you haven’t, I bet.  Next time I’ll introduce you to it, but for now, please click on the link below for a taste of what’s to come, and what happens Outside.
